Who we are

The Lovable Builders Cup is a recurring, community-led builder challenge organized by Lucio Amorim (Lovable Ambassador). This policy describes how we handle your personal data in compliance with Brazil's LGPD (Law 13.709/2018) and the EU's GDPR (Regulation 2016/679).

What data we collect

We collect only what we need to run the challenge:

  • Account data: name, email, city, country, community, builder level and type.
  • Profile picture (when you sign in with Google) or uploaded avatar.
  • Submitted project data: name, description, public URL, screenshot, video, category.
  • Public signals: likes and shares.
  • Minimal technical logs for security and audit.

How we use your data

We process your data based on your consent and our legitimate interest in operating the competition:

  • Run sign-up, submission, and curation of each round.
  • Publicly display your builder name, profile picture, city, country, and project in the gallery, Top 11, Hall of Fame, and official channels.
  • Issue shareable certificates, stickers, and recognitions.
  • Send transactional emails about your submission status and participation.
  • Produce aggregated, anonymous metrics.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share only with strictly necessary infrastructure providers (Lovable Cloud / Supabase, email provider, Google OAuth), under confidentiality agreements. Public data (builder name, project, picture) is visible to anyone who visits the site.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active and for up to 24 months after the end of the edition you participated in, for public history (Hall of Fame). You may request removal earlier at any time.

Your rights

Under LGPD and GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or update your data.
  • Request deletion of your account and your projects from the public gallery.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.
  • Receive your data in a structured, portable format.
  • File a complaint with the competent authority (ANPD in Brazil; your national data protection authority in the EU).

Cookies

We use only essential cookies for authentication and language preference. We do not use marketing or third-party tracking cookies.
